Just imagine, overnight bulletin was revised, what should we do? They did change it,if you know what I mean?

Guys this is a revision to the July Visa Bulletin. Meaning, even if the revision happens on July 29th to the July Visa Bulletin, it holds good for entire july.
This is not August bulletin.

Looks like people have misconception, that if their file goes to USCIS on July 2nd and visa bulletin is revised on July 3rd or later date, then they are safe. It is not so.
If at all if there is a change to the August bulletin it holds good for August and not to July bulletin.

Pls let me know if my understanding is wrong

Second fingerprint on September 20th 2010
Lawyer was told that my case is being "held" since there was no visa number available after my 2nd fingerprint cleared, so I wasn't expecting anything until Oct 1st, so was obviously pleasantly surprised.

These are very tough and partisian bills (immigration bills). This also being an election year, some lawmakers will try to puch their own agenda. Don't expect a featherbed solution. This will be a dogfight.
This time atleast there will be some democrats to vote for our bill, unless the anti guys find some way of preventing them from participating in it.

I have also applied for PD Porting myself, I have sent the letetr to TSC requesting the Porting on my approved I140's, My EB3 PD is Oct 2003.

I seriously hope that your PD is older than Oct 2003, Otherwise I am going to Jump in front of you and will cut the line. do you know how many years it have been since oct 2003, Its 5 YEARS and you think that changing lanes is unfair here, all the people who are trying to port the PD's must have been waiting for atleat 4-5 years, You think that experience is not worth anything in their next job and they don't qualify for EB2 or are less smart than any of your "supporting friends".

Most of these immigration lawyers are having hard time these days and are not making as much money as they once used to. This could very well be a publicity stunt for creating a scene that eb2 is going to move very fast so that more eb3 will work on porting, thereby making big bucks for lawyers. Wait until you get your greencard in hand.

If obama is elected president I will not buy the car and will basically go into 100% saving mode because you never know when Durbin might kick us out. Nobody knows what sort of draconian rules are going to be put in place for EB community by Durbin. I have no confidence in Durbin to show any compassion\fairness towards Eb community. There might be hundreds of thousands of people holding off on purchasing a house, car or any big ticket item because of Durbin cir and there hostility towards Eb community. Hope I am proven wrong but I have not heard a single positive thing out of obama regarding EB community. Even when he was specifically asked about the green card delays faced by EB community he gave a evasive reply. He is always boasting about support for legal immigartion i.e family based immigration and not eb. I am not a obama hater nor a mcccain supporter but just a worried EB guy worried about his bleak future with Durbin lead cir.

if we get same from EB2 row and Eb5 then total spill will be 8 (EB2 row ) + 8 (Eb5 ) + 2 (Eb1) + 12 (Eb1 ) = 30k. Demand upto July 2007 is 32k - 33k... so more chances of June 2007. if we get more from EB1 and Eb2 row then chnaces for july aug 2007 are more and more...

I believe that we will get 14-15K from EB2 ROW, EB1 = 12K (currently) + 6K (Minimum), regular cap I/C 6K. Eb2 row usage is down to 60%.

Total Numbers = 14 + 18 + 6 = 38K.
Now total demand is not just 34K demand data we also have porting and new filings especially from May - Jul 2007. My assumption of porting has been 6K out of which 2K have been approved.

So really its almost an exact match till Jul - Aug 2007. We should wait for the May bulletin thing to come true firts I believe VDLRAO gave a great calculation for that.

Just trying to figure out if folks who had an A# in the H1b approval notice are also facing the PIMS delay. (just a wild guess).
